Details: Central Silk Board, Goverment of India, in the year 1958, established a central Silkworm Seed Station at Pampore Kashmir for maintaining exotic as well as indigenous univoltine/bivoltine races of silkworm. In the year 1980-81,the Seed Station was upgraded as Regional Sericultural Research Station.
